Renowned Marathi actor Atul Parchure has died at the age of 57. Parchure, who had been a prominent figure in both Marathi and Bollywood cinema, died on 14 October after his health deteriorated while working on the stage show, Suryachi Pille.
The actor, who had been battling cancer for several years, reportedly experienced a relapse of the disease.
Sources close to the family confirmed that Parchure breathed his last earlier today. He is survived by his mother, wife, and daughter, who have requested privacy during this difficult time.
Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, posted for the actor and expressed grief.
